DayDreaming
This soundscape is a representation of daydreaming. I wanted to take a Zoom lecture and show the ways in which I can tune out and enter another world. Transitioning into the dream, I distorted my professor's voice, in an uneasy way, which is then released into the “tune-out”. I used effects on my professor's voice (no offense to him) and muffled his voice and overlaid some magical sounds, like a recording moving rings in a glass jar, to seem like I am in a trance. Outside noises of birds and leaf blowers flow in and out, bringing myself back to reality. In the end I pull my attention back to the lecture and the soundscape tapers off.
